In-Store Marketing Expo Expands
The In-Store Marketing Expo, taking place Nov. 12-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, has significantly expanded its agenda to provide thousands of attendees even greater educational and networking opportunities. In 2008, the Expo will feature a world-class educational curriculum of more than 40 seminars and symposia, free keynote addresses from retail giants Wal-Mart and Kroger, and an array of networking events and opportunities.
New in 2008 are the addition of four intensive symposia. Designed as deep-dive workshops that deliver practical in-store insights, Expo symposia are an excellent supplement to the conference's traditional curriculum. Attendees can choose from four:
- The New World of Shopper Marketing, by Interscope
- Visual Solutions to Marketing Problems, by Proteus
- The Power of Entertainment @ Retail, by the Promotion Marketing Association
- The New Wal-Mart Smart Network, by Wal-Mart. (Note: this private session is for qualified Wal-Mart vendors and their agencies only; in-store media and P-O-P firms are not eligible.)
In addition to the enhanced educational program, the Expo offers attendees an expansive exhibit hall boasting a variety of specialized pavilions and more than 300 total solution providers; the inspirational Design of the Times Gallery, which showcases hundreds of the latest retail displays and promotions; bonus show-floor education in the "What's New" Theater and In-Store Marketing Institute Bookstore; and unique opportunities for networking with colleagues at the Design of the Times Awards Reception and the Women in P-O-P Benefit to Fight Breast Cancer.
